Routes and Jobs via Excel

USE EXCEL FILE TO UPLOAD ROUTES AND JOBS

The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of how to use an Excel file to upload bulk routes and jobs.

We will begin by manually creating one route and one job directly in Titan for the vehicle “Martha SUV.”

The following jobs and routes were created by uploading the Excel file:

Referring to the Excel spreadsheet above, the new job “Home Depot” was added to the existing Route ID 413, which belongs to the “Martha SUV” vehicle.

Using the Excel template, we also created a route with the temporary route name “Route 1” for the vehicle “EZ Install – RAV4.” This route was assigned the permanent Route ID 414, and a new job was also created.

Notes:

  • You can add existing jobs to existing routes, as long as you use the correct Route ID of the existing route.

  • You can also create new routes that do not yet have a Titan Route ID by using a temporary route name. In our example, we used the temporary route name “Route 1,” and Titan automatically assigned the route ID 414.

  • You can use a single Excel file to create new routes, add jobs to existing routes, or do both at the same time.
