Fuel Consumption and Cost

This feature provides you with an overview of your vehicle’s fuel consumption and cost even without the need for fuel accessories or sensors. It’s simple to use, as you will only have to input a value in the settings.

Fuel Cost Settings

To get started, go to the Map page, and click on the 'General settings' icon in the left panel.

Click on ‘cost of fuel’ and you can now enter a cost value for diesel and gasoline.

Don’t forget to click ‘Update’ to save the settings.

Fuel Consumption Settings

For fuel consumption data, on the same page, select the device you want to track fuel consumption for, and click on the ‘Device settings’ icon in the right panel.

Here, enter the correct or accurate fuel consumption of your vehicle per 100km and fuel type. You can find this information from your car dealership or the vehicle manufacturer.

Click ‘Update’ and you can now view the fuel consumption in the Trips report. Make sure your vehicle has recorded trips first.

Note: The fuel consumption setting must be configured, otherwise, even if the fuel cost is set, it will not appear in the report.

Viewing and Generating Report

To view the fuel data, go to the Reports page and click on the Trips report.

Select the device or devices for which you have set the fuel consumption. Then, choose the date range you want to view. Make sure to check the ‘Show fuel data in report’ box so that the fuel consumption data is included. Finally, click ‘Create report’.

You can now view and monitor your vehicle’s fuel consumption and fuel cost.

Note: Please note that this fuel consumption data feature will only appear in the Trips report.

Note: Once the fuel data settings are updated, the report will also update with the new fuel data columns.
