Events – Bind Zone to Rule
With this feature, you can bind a zone to an event rule. This allows alerts to trigger based on whether the device is inside or outside a defined geofence when an event occurs.
HOW IT WORKS
You can configure each event to trigger only when the device’s location is inside/outside the geofence selected:
Inside – The alert will only trigger when the device is within the selected geofence and the event occurs.
Outside – The alert will only trigger when the device is outside the selected geofence and the event occurs.
HOW TO SET UP
You can create any type of alert you need.
If you’re not sure how to set up an alert, please refer to the guide for detailed instructions.
Below Select Event Settings, you will find the option “Bind zone to rule.”

Tick the checkbox to enable the feature.

Once enabled, additional settings will appear.

Select whether you want the rule to apply Inside or Outside the geofence.

Choose the geofences you want to associate with this rule. You can select multiple geofences as needed.
Example
If you have an Ignition alert rule set up:

Inside: The alert will trigger when the device’s ignition is turned on while inside the geofence.

Outside: The alert will trigger when the device’s ignition is turned on while outside the geofence.
This gives you greater flexibility and control over how alerts are generated.
